History
- 1992
Two psychology graduate students of Ateneo de Manila University, Maria Fatima Garcia-Lorenzo and Icar Castro, formed Kythe to provide psychosocial support to pediatric cancer patients.

Registered with SEC as a Non-Stock, Non-Profit Corporation
- 1998
Psychosocial activities for patients was formally named the Child Life Program
- 1999
Child Life Program expanded its services to other departments in EAMC
- 2000
Allan Cabisaga and Fatima Garcia completed their Child Life Internships in Australia And USA
- 2001
Fatima Garcia passed the exam and became one of the first certified Child Life Specialists in the Philippines
- 2005
Kythe moved to its new office, catering to the needs of its 8 affiliate hospitals.
